CHINA SUPERPASSED USA IN USIN THE INTERNET

China surpassed the United States in the number of Internet users, which puts the Chinese giant on the right track to catch up with users of the Internet.

The number of Internet users in China to 210 million users, with a five million users from the United States, and noted “Information Center of the Internet in China” to the rapid growth of Internet users in the country by 53 per cent, from 137 million in the same period last year.

China seriously suffers from high rates of addiction to the Internet, where were classified about 13% of the total users of the network in the country under the age of 18 years, numbering 20 million people, in the category of Internet addicts.

The opinion poll showed that the majority of Chinese schoolchildren between the ages of 4 - 14 years old prefer to enter the international information network Internet and enjoy it during the summer vacation.

The poll indicated that about 4% of children have chosen activities outside their homes during the summer holiday, while 9% of them in the educational summer camps.

The Beijing government imposed strict control on the Internet, despite its efforts to promote their use for educational purposes.
