Traditional Weddings or not at all !

Yes my dear friends, I will be wearing a traditional Palestinian thob in my wedding, I will wear “7ata wa 3gal” too, will all the original, old yet beautiful traditional accessories!!!.
Why? some might ask! will it is simple, I do not have to be westernized to be cool!!! Why would I be cool in the first place? I’m Arab, I am a guy, I love my tradition and I love our costumes and clothes. I like traditional weddings, with the big tents and Arabic meals. I adore traditional Arabic music, the “dabkih” is way better than the “tango”, “tlola7i ya dalyih” sounds better than any English song.
I have been attending many weddings lately, all of them in Hotels and wedding halls, many mixed (which I’m against). it starts with a grand entrance for the Bride and Groom, with loud music, then a slow dance, then a fast dance, then the rest of the people join. and to be honest I find that some how dull and very boring, then they sit down and get served either food or drinks or cake or all together … blah blah blah blah …
What bothers me more is the dances, the silly songs, and the way some guys shake so good everyone will be making a circle around the guy and start saluting him for a very jelly-like waist.
seriously guys, whats with the belly dancing, it’s disgusting and not fun at all to any normal person looking at you.
we have our own traditions, it is not low class “wa bee2a” to follow them, I find it insulting that some people make fun of the Bedouin weddings and calling them funny.
P.S. Opinions mentioned above might change upon the request of future fiance (Rabbit Mood on)
